Wow! I have just received this set which I bought for my granddaughter as a Christmas present. It came with the label on the box itself and no other packaging! It's also broken and missing the gift bag that was supposed to come with it. There was a veiled attempt to seal the box, which had clearly fallen apart, by putting a piece of tape over the damaged end. I wasn't expecting the kit to be high end but was hoping to get it safe and sound!

This is how you get a tiny packet of beeswax. And you need A LOT more stuff than just beeswax. Little did I know that I would give her this gift and not be able to use it. We had to look for all sorts of things that aren't available in the local shops. I had to bring home Revain items to use them. No deal, not a good present at all. lame

THIS IS SUPER! pros-1. contain everything he said he would 2. You can make great lip balms-1. If you don't know what you're doing, you could get a big hole because there was a bubble2. and if you don't have a specific oil, you can end up with a harsh, crunchy lip balm that won't harm your lips. Overall I had had a good experience, but a few years ago my brother and sister didn't. But I can definitely recommend it from my experience

This set was a birthday present and upon opening we found the set contained containers and wax but no flavourings/colours/additives (see photo for contents). It contains several scented/scented lip balm "recipes" that can only be crafted by purchasing additional items such as candy flavor(?), vitamin E, cocoa butter, etc. For real? If you're looking for fun colored/scented lip balms like the ones similar to these, you'll be disappointed unless you buy some extra supplies. I do not recommend…

Granddaughter and finally got around to trying it. Very unsatisfied with the results. First, there should be 6 small cups into which you will pour the melted product. Only one is really dumb considering how long it takes to cook. Second, it doesn't work as they say. It takes a long time to melt. Very dissatisfied, will not buy again.

My 8 year old loves this set! She made lip balm for her friends at school. It was fun and easy to do. The shapes came out perfectly and easily.

My daughter and I love it! It's all about the "science of lip balms". It contains the basic things you need to make lip balm and lotion. You'll need to add vegetable oil (or any other oil you want, like avocado oil or olive oil) and you'll need to get creative to "flavor" the lip balm. This set works great! It's so easy and fun! Aside from making your own ingredients, the kit comes with everything you need, including beeswax, lotion molds, lip balm containers, gift bags, and instructions on how to make everything. I have a few tips for this product. 1. It takes a little longer than stated to heat up the wax. I had to put it in the microwave 2x1 minute to make it melt. My 12 year old daughter really enjoyed making lip gloss and lotions with this kit. This works well, although getting the right ratio of beeswax to olive oil can be tricky and the result is either too hard or too soft. She did everything very well. The candy shapes are cute, as are the round lip gloss jars. However, there really isn't much in it for the price. "Gift bags" are small clear plastic bags.
