My favorite running socks! These are the only socks I run in more. They have slightly more cushioning than other types of Smartwool running socks but are not overly bulky. I wear 8.5 shoes and the medium fits perfectly. They're expensive so I don't put them in the dryer so they last longer. Costs money! :)

I was looking for socks that would help with pain in my feet after long hikes. I found these in the medium version but wanted something shorter. These micro socks only fit at shoe height and provide extra cushioning and arch support. My feet don't hurt as much after a long hike and these socks just seem to hug them in all the right places.

I was disappointed. There was a mysterious hole in my left sock that wasn't caused by normal wear and tear. My right sock has lost elasticity. This is a far cry from the stellar reputation their touring socks have built. Maybe a stray sheep slipped through the cracks of the Smartwool and climbed into my mate. I'll try again, but there are other brands that might work for ankle socks.

These socks are not as described. The attached photos show that I already have 4 different pairs. The socks I just bought pale in comparison to my previous pairs. I have different pairs of each. Why can't you just reproduce the verified results from previous runs? In order of preference, the gray couple is gorgeous! Two pairs of browns (orange/black + blue) are great. I also like white ones with blue tips but they are heavier.

I've been wearing Smartwool socks for many years. This guy (mine is a low quarter) is my favorite. I have nerve problems in my legs, so I'm very careful about what I wear. I have purchased several pairs of SmartWool Light Micro in the past and the latest batch has not had the same durability as my previous pairs.
