Good product! best in hand tools

I had never sharpened a knife before I started chopping meat. It was then that I found that all the knives in my house were blunt, which made my job very difficult. Instead of buying new knives, I decided to try diamond stone. I'm so glad I did it because it's so easy to use and all the knives in my house are so sharp I've forbidden my wife from using some of them because she might be pretty but she's actually a mess is. This tiny investment has made each knife better than when it was new…

Pros
  • tools and housewares
Cons
  • threadbare

Rough Blades Only

I thought this would get the blade pretty sharp. I was wrong, this is just to change the shape of the blade and get rid of the notches very quickly. He does this job very well. Which is good for me, I have some OLD pocket knives from my grandfather with huge serrated edges, specifically one that he was about to throw away. When I showed him this, he was surprised. In any case, this does not result in a large "cutting edge", only a change in shape. A nice rock "that I ordered a few days ago"…

except the legs.

The diamond aspect is great and is now my preferred method/format for sharpening my knives. I'm a chef and all I care about is the "health" of a kitchen product. once a week and use steel to keep them "in tune". Worktops made of stainless steel and cutting boards made of plastic or wood. I took one of my sharpened paring knives and made small cuts in the rubber and that improved things a bit, but a damp towel still holds it in place better.
