Fast and perfect in power tools

I installed ladder rungs and wanted to hide the screws. That fits the bill. My old racquet from another brand is used for heat and smoke. This beat was perfect! It didn't get hot and cut through the oak very well. I thought cutting the connector would be a chore, but with a decent flat head screwdriver it was very easy.

Pros
  • Hardened steel for long life
Cons
  • Only available in black

Great for softwood boards up to 19/32 thick

I've used it to cut dowels out of 19/32 T1-11 fairing and it was good enough for the purpose. .. managed 19/32" wood and even 5/8" wood would be too thick for this router. Limited. The small taper is ideal for tightly fitting plugs into 5/8" diameter holes .No glue required as they are firmly in place.

Pros
  • 5/8" Hex Dowel Cutter
Cons
  • Not sure

Works if you need plugs, so here's a plug for that

Although it would work better with a drill, I was able to use it with a cordless drill and quite soft wood. I could not find the dowels I needed on sale at a reasonable price. When darning holes in wood, we usually want the texture to match, and this allows you to do that with a one-time purchase of a special tool. and make forks to your heart's content. Of course, for any size you want to make, you'll need a fork cutter. The 5/8 inch size was what I needed, but was out of stock at most places…

Pros
  • Tapered sides and beveled end for easy starting
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
