Comfortable, attractive, tolerates frequent wear and wash

I started wearing them to PA school as part of a surgical spy rotation and now wear them to work every day. I wear them when I'm on my feet most of the day, for example to work, hiking or on a flight. I've told all my medical friends about it and convinced at least 5 of them to try it. Everyone has bought extra pairs because they are so comfortable and help with tired legs. They absorb moisture well so my feet never get wet, they also keep my feet warm. I have also given black shoes to my pilot

Helps ankles and legs not top of feet

I got them due to swelling during pregnancy. Before using I could not bend my toes or ankles they were so bad. After that my ankles and legs were much better but the top of the foot stayed the same (which makes the foot very weird lol). They make it bearable, which is why I give it four stars. You just have to make the foot more compressible. In the photo on the left before and on the right after a week of daily wear. It doesn't seem like much, but let me tell you, you're feeling a lot better…

    Poor quality control when sizing

I'm giving this one star because although the first pair I bought (turquoise) was great and fitted great, I immediately bought two more to have good knee socks for the to have winter. - the other two pairs are incredibly small. Unfortunately, the other two pairs are smaller than the first pair, and the white pair is noticeably smaller than the black one. I have attached photos to show the totally different sizes of the three pairs. The black ones are small for me and I haven't even tried on the

Fun and colorful patterns, will buy more.

I felt pain and swelling in my ankles and decided to see if compression stockings would help. The Sockwell brand is one of three different brands I've tried so far. All the fun patterns they offer caught my attention. Getting old and doing things like wearing compression stockings is bad enough, at least we can have fun colors and patterns to help ease the pain a little! I usually wear a size 7 1/2 shoes and was concerned that the S/M might be too small as I have thicker feet, but I also didn't

Finally a pair of comfortable compression stockings

I've been looking for a pair of comfortable compression stockings for air travel for a number of years. Even a short flight makes my legs swell with something violent. However, I haven't found a comfortable pair yet. And they look good too! The description for them isn't very good, so I list what's on my packaging. I have a 7M/7.5M foot with 14.5″ calves and bought the Small/Medium. The packaging states that Small/Medium is suitable for women's shoe sizes from 4 to 7.5. on the edge of the size…

I feel prematurely old (it doesn't help that my husband teases me.

I feel like a premature old lady (it doesn't help that my husband teases me when I wear them), but these socks I feel like I bought them for prenatal air travel and initially wore them solely for that purpose - I had no swelling or varicose veins or pain before but wore them as a precautionary way or overlapping circulation but I have them always happily undressed once we landed and let my skin breathe (and shower.) Later, during my pregnancy, I wore socks to sleep a few times (generally I…

Tight compression for 16 " calves

Edit: It's been a few years since my original review. I had 3 stars but I am moving it to 5. I still think they are not suitable for people with bigger calves but other than that my opinion has changed. I've tried many different compression stockings, but I always come back to these. Other brands are so tight I can't wear them and most don't have graduations. I really appreciate the graduated compression and agree they are tighter compression for me. They really help a lot with my POTS symptoms

    No swelling on flights

*****UPDATE 7/11/19***** I have worn these socks regularly on all my flights over the past few years. , and I have no problems with lower extremity swelling, regardless of the duration of the flight. These are my travel socks. - Original Review - - I am an active travel agent. About 5 years ago I first experienced severe swelling in my legs and ankles during a 17 hour flight. The swelling wouldn't let go of me all week and when I got home it was even worse. Full recovery takes a couple of…

    Very comfortable and cozy

I've wanted compression stockings for travel for a long time. I had compression stockings that I used for running and they are very tight so I was wary of traveling in compression stockings. I saw the reviews for this brand and decided to give it a try. I didn't rate them for training because I don't use them for that. Those sold for exercise are usually made from polypropylene and come in a variety of compression ratios, measured in mmHg. Art. (millimeters of mercury). You can also choose by…
