Pads don't last more than a month

Pads only lasted 3 weeks on my chair and became thin and no longer sticky. I used to buy the ones worn by Costco and they lasted three years with daily use of the chairs before needing to be replaced.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Not sure

You will use them for more than you think.

First I placed them on the underside of the dining table and chairs. Then I used something to keep my drawers and cabinets from slamming when you close them. Then I close that pesky rattling flap that dances when you turn on the exhaust fan above the stove. I then used one on my flagpole to keep it from rotating and grinding metal in its mount when it's windy. Now I've used it all up, so I need to buy more to fix other things.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty
Cons
  • Quick Instructions

thick felt and sticky glue

I needed new felt pads for a set of bar stools after replacing the carpet with SPC flooring. These worked great. I was so pleased with them that I installed them on our dining room chairs as well, they are higher quality than the ones I used on these chairs 5 years ago. It is best to clean the underside of the chair leg with rubbing alcohol, 409, etc. to keep it completely clean and to give the best possible adhesion of the glue to the pads. Their dense felt lasts a very long time.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Negative gift

They do the job I needed them for at a fraction of the cost.

I needed something to protect the floor and be able to move my furniture if needed. You do the work I need. Highly recommended. Also, if you're having trouble attaching them to your furniture, buy some rubbing alcohol and cotton swabs/paper towels. Dampen a cotton/paper towel and rub down the furniture legs to ensure they are clean. Allow to air dry or wipe with a dry paper towel. Apply firmly and hold force for about 60 seconds then you are done. Definitely saves the floor!

Pros
  • Everything is fine!

Protects floors but won't stick to furniture

Cheap and fragile. They fall off after a few days, especially from light furniture such as chairs, which are moved more often than heavy furniture. This may be my fault as I didn't clean my chair legs enough before gluing them on. Pros: # Inexpensive # Protects the floor Cons: # Doesn't last long Tips: # Do not use as a glider. Just use them to protect the floor. # Clean with a cotton swab with enough 90% isopropyl alcohol/isopropanol to wet it (beware of damage to furniture). Conclusion: ideal

  • Weight

Great product so far

I've read a lot of reviews about them not sticking but I haven't had any problems with them. I've used the product as is and even had to cut some of them down to a third of their size to fit some of my chairs with very thin legs and even they stayed up without falling off. Perhaps they are more prone to falls if you move the chair while sitting on it, which we haven't done with our chairs. At first they seem too thick, but once the weight of the furniture is on them, the thickness becomes good…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Forever felt: furniture pads

These pads make a big difference to dining room chairs. Our dining room is furnished with IKEA wooden chairs. Our floor is stained concrete. They used to make a loud sliding noise. Now that they have felt feet, they slide much better and are quieter. I was a bit reluctant to buy 48 of these because I only needed 16 of them, but every year or so a few of them wear out completely so it's nice to have plenty of spares to replace worn ones. I also started looking for other furniture to put on top…

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • I'll be silent

A great way to reduce wear on a smooth floor.

I tiled the dining area with Armstrong VCT tiles and they are perfect for table and chair legs. The legs are wood and the glue seems to be holding well...although the chairs barely move and the table doesn't. I spent 42 on a table and 4 chairs and will buy a few more for a few other items in the room... but they are cheaper in the orange home center. I don't see them falling unless they snag on something...like a floor seam...but they definitely work best on a very smooth floor. No complaints…

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Minor issues
