I purchased this DVD player from a local seller in 2001 and was very impressed with the picture quality it displayed on my 36 inch Wega HD TV. There are absolutely no scan lines in the video. that I can see at a reasonable distance from the HDTV. The audio outputs allow you to have either an optical (my preference) or a coaxial digital output.
