Multifunctional in TV and video

I've been searching and searching and searching for a replacement for my old Panasonic DVD player. That's it. It not only plays new formats. It has 2 pieces, 2 sets of audio outputs. That was my biggest complaint when trying to find a DVD player. I've had bad experiences with my RCA carousel DVD player that had more than one set of audio outputs. Manufacturers seem to think that if you don't need a carousel, you don't want to connect your DVD player to your stereo like you would to your TV…

Excellent player for TV and video

I had this DVD player for about 7 years. I've never had any problems with it. It's a smart and easy-to-use player with many features that technicians will appreciate, such as: B. displaying the position on the disc, information about the current bit rate, etc. You also have the option to jump to a specific point on the disc, for example to the title. and a chapter on internal controls. The remote control also has a smart design with easy-to-use and well-placed buttons. The appearance of this…

Great replacement

This is my third Sony DVD player which I have bought to replace a poorly chosen Phillips DVD621 (see related review). As usual with previous Sony purchases, the (S550D, S330) NS715P continues to meet my needs. The 715 has new features, the strongest of which is progressive scan. If this is your first purchase, this might be the best choice you can make in this price range. A variety of features let you customize playback for virtually any home theater. Expect ease of use from both the on-screen

Fantastic entry-level DVD player

This player is one of the best DVD players at an affordable price. Not only does it have features that high-end players have, like progressive scan and multi-format playback, but at this price point, it's a STEAL! Apart from that, SONY should have added one thing to this DVD player: the ability to read ID3 tags. While the player allows you to navigate the OSD to the song you want, it only displays the name you give your file on screen. It does not display information from identification tags…

Great DVD player for use with HDTV

I purchased this DVD player from a local seller in 2001 and was very impressed with the picture quality it displayed on my 36 inch Wega HD TV. There are absolutely no scan lines in the video. that I can see at a reasonable distance from the HDTV. The audio outputs allow you to have either an optical (my preference) or a coaxial digital output. The player also offers a switch on the back to choose progressive, interlaced or automatic video signal selection. The remote control is very easy to use

Pretty good overall

I was looking for a decent DVD player to play my MP3 files. It took me 3 players to come up with this model. Too many players say "MP3 compatible" but don't support all MP3s (jump, loud clicks, etc.). Sony was the first to handle ALL my MP3s with no problems. As a previous reviewer mentioned, it's quite a shame that Sony hasn't added a shuffle feature for MP3 discs. They made it available on regular CDs, so what's up? Oh yes, the DVD player itself works perfectly. There are several settings you
