Works ok after some practice

The Soozier balance board is an interesting addition to my exercise room. It isn't really a heavy workout item, but it adds variety to pushups as well as standing stability practice. The overall quality of the item is ok, but not the best. It is made of thick plywood with a relatively finished surface, but the edges are rough, and the plywood has plenty of voids. Strong enough to use but somewhat unsightly. The assembly took longer than I thought (30 minutes) due to some quality control issues…

Cons
  • The board may not be customizable to individual user's weight or balance needs

I should first preface my review with some information about me. While I'm 58 now, I skateboarded extensively in my youth and still have two skateboards I occasionally use. I credit my past with having retained decent balance. But it was a good thing that the first time I used this board I was holding onto something for I surely would have fallen if I hadn't. After a couple tries, I was able to keep on the board without holding onto anything for minutes at a time. My wife (52) who actively…

Pros
  • ‎33 x 12.4 x 4.1 inches
Cons
  • The non-slip roller may lose its grip with extended use, decreasing its effectiveness

Not the easiest to use

My husband really wanted a balance board for practicing balance of course and also prepping for snowboarding season so that was the reason we got this. I will tell you it sits up pretty high from the ground so for someone like me who has basically no balance I am scared to even try it because I am sure I would fall on my face---my husband however has tried it out a few times and it has worked for him though it is a bit of a challenge to stay balanced/on the board. I can say ours has not had any

Poor Quality And Durability

This balance board is made completely out of plywood with the exception of the axle for the spool and the grip tape strips. The screw is too long to hold the plywood disks together tightly, allowing them to wiggle around. After maybe five minutes of standing on it I heard a splitting sound coming from it. I checked, and saw multiple small gouges in the edges of the middle keel piece, along with the pictured split ply. I believe the looseness of the disks caused the edges to sort of saw away at…

Pros
  • Non-Slip Surface: The veined surface creates more traction, which ensures that you stay on, and reduces the risk of injuries. The equipment is suitable for any skill level, from beginner to advanced.
Cons
  • The wooden material may wear down or splinter over time, leading to potential injury

Excellent durability and material quality

I picked this up to use and share at work when we're feeling fidgety. I assembled it without tools and couldn't get the dowel piece together as tight as it needs to be. As is, it steers me forward and back like a sick skateboard (bonus challenge?). My pals at work can ratchet it down the rest of the way which should prevent that. Would have been easy to hand-tighten if they had just the thinnest layer of grease on the axel and some pins for leverage.

Pros
  • Portable Design: The rocker board is unattached to the roller underneath, so you can take the two pieces apart for easy travel and storage. Carry the lightweight workout equipment in a backpack, gym bag, etc. when you're on your next adventure.
Cons
  • The board may not be suitable for more advanced or challenging workouts, limiting its usefulness in the long term

Good design, may not work for heavier people

This works great and it’s fun to use. However, it is made of plywood and leaves me some concerns for durability. I am a normal weight female so I have had no concerns, but I would be worried about it breaking if my husband used it

Pros
  • ‎4.47 Kilograms
Cons
  • The board may not be suitable for individuals with certain physical limitations or injuries
