This stapler is crap

THIS Spec Ops Tools Heavy Duty Stapler, 1/4" - 9/16", 18 gauge staples - crap when I first started using the today necessary staples. Don't waste your money! I had an Arrow T50 Heavy Duty chrome stapler that I bought in 1970 and recently lost. I go to Lowe and buy another Arrow T50 Heavy Duty Chrome stapler and I never had a problem with it until I lost it recently.

Absolute junk good for staples

I loaded my new Spec Ops Tools Heavy Duty Stapler with 1/4" manufacturer's staples for the first time. The gun quickly jammed: it refused to feed staples* and * the staple magazine refused to open so I could unload it and try to clear the jam Ten minutes later I filled out the return paperwork for the Revain program: That's expensive junk.

My new favorite brand.

the best stapler i have ever used. The ultra-light soft trigger helps in hard-to-reach places, we build in chimneys and have to code-clog the interior of the chase. This gun is 100% worth the money. Love the side window, it lets you know you're running out of bullets so you can't get to work and you only have two staples left and have to crawl back behind another shelf. I actually replaced my thick max band with a special surgery band, another great purchase. And a hammer. quality tools.

Pros
  • great product

  • something different

I mean technically it works. like

This appears to be a well made stapler and has some of the features I have been looking for in my favorite stapler. I immediately noticed that this thing doesn't reset after every "trigger pull". I have to manually push the plunger back in or pull the trigger, which is not easily accessible under the trigger grip. It works very well with the 1/4 inch staples I bought, but it's pretty much a screw-on stapler. If you need one that works reliably, look elsewhere.

Pros
  • everything is fine!
Cons
  • Expensive
