🔧 Spectra Premium CRP06A Engine Oil Pan Review

Like: great price, great quality and solid oil pan. Got the oil pan today and replaced it. This is an exact oil pan replacement for my 1999 Jeep Cherokee XJ 4.0L SE. I haven't had any issues with the joint and gasket (Fel-Pro) on this oil pan as described in other reviews. Made in Canada! 🇨🇦 Thank you Canada! 🙂 Dislikes: None at the moment.

This was a great piece. Make sure you purchase the correct gasket that comes with this one and as long as that is taken care of you will love this product. It even comes with an oil stopper, awesome! My older XJ Cherokee has a nice shiny new bottom, lots of miles and hopefully lots more with this new addition. Cherokee 84-01, they definitely don't make them like that anymore. After 270,000 miles the oil pan bolt finally came loose which is a shame.

Revaine has indicated that it will not fit my 1999 Jeep TJ but after looking at other sites found it to fit perfectly. The recommended gasket fits very well, but the recommended drain plug does not. The pan comes with a fork, but I was about to order an extra one. Now I'm going to install another skid plate so it doesn't crack like the last one. The four stars are due to the drain plug mount being just a thin spot welded threaded mount compared to my other pan which had a real nut welded to it.

Arrived quickly, perfect fit (2000 Jeep Cherokee 4.0L). Totally worth the price to replace the rusty pan I had before. If you want to crawl on rocks I would go for a thicker steel pan, but for daily riding and the occasional trail it seems fine to me. The steel is not thick, but sufficient. I gave five stars, but I'd like to mention a small annoyance I had: The drain plug was screwed in so tight I had to check to see if it was spot welded.
