Description of Spectra Premium FN854 Fuel Filler

Unit is designed to Original Equipment (OE) fit, form and function requirements. Fit tested on vehicle application for which it was developed verifying first-hand that the design fits properly and can be easily installed. Dual coated for enhanced corrosion protection. Unit is leak tested after production to ensure product is free from fuel and/or evaporative leaks. Tested with Original Equipment (OE) fuel cap to prevent EVAP and check engine light failure.

Improved Performance with Fuel Filler

This PRODUCT has significantly improved fuel delivery to my car's engine, resulting in better performance... It was easy to install and saved me money on costly repairs. However, I wish it came with more detailed instructions. Overall, i highly recommend this fuel system accessory to any Automotive enthusiast looking to boost their car's performance..

Perfect fit for 1999 TJ

Replaced a cracked filler neck on a 1999 TJ. According to the ECU fault code, the cracked filler caused a "large" and a "small" vacuum leak. Replacing the cover did not fix the problem. Inspection of each vacuum line revealed no leaks. I could smell raw gasoline near the filler neck and when I checked the new cap I noticed a cracked filler neck. By replacing the cracked filler neck, I was able to clear the trouble code, allowing TJ to overlook the smog.
