Works well. The reason I'm not giving it a full five stars is because overall it was definitely tight. I really had to stuff it together to fit where the factory intake was. That being said, I noticed an increase in responsiveness and acceleration with my S10.

Goes well with my 96 LS 2 door Blazer. Installation was quick and easy once you know what you're doing! Can't beat the price, Autozone wanted over $150 for the exact same thing. As far as I can tell there is a noticeable difference in engine noise and power, it's not that much but hopefully the mpg is a little better! Overall a great air intake kit at a good price.

Easy installation took me time and the step-by-step instructions took me just over an hour to complete. I did a few things differently. I used pan head screws to hold the heat shield in place and used silicon grease to insert the IAT sensor. I only drove it to work and back about 50 km round trip. The fit of the pants on the dyno definitely seems quicker from 0 to 60 and sounds a whole lot angrier.

Overall a good product. Everything was easy to install. Next to the air temperature sensor located in the rubber bushing. I would install it right after you install the plastic hat. Don't press too hard on the plastic, you can separate it from the aluminum base. Spray WD40 or something else to push the sensor through. The filter is good, pre-lubricated. how much performance increases? But it feels better at low/mid RPM. I say that this income is worth the money.

Requires an additional throttle screw, the extensions did not cover the stud but fit so snugly on the throttle that the 3rd screw is not needed. My RPM gauge is maxed out when it only hits 5. Sounds great with my cherry bomb exhaust with straight pipe swirl. The filter does not need to be protected. I had to twist the gasket where the sensor goes through the plastic part with a knife, it was too tight, I cut it 1mm. but i had fun too. never had a problem with it.

This kit offers excellent value for money. It comes very well packaged and all parts fit the car perfectly. Installing it on a 2003 S10 ZR2 took 90 minutes but I took my time. There were two difficult steps. First thing was to drill the bottom hole in the heatsink bracket (tip: mark the hole by making an indentation with an awl and hammer. I have a K&N cold air intake on my 2000 GMC Sierra V6 and bought this for a 2000 Blazer Zr2 V6 (it came with a Specter brand filter that simply attached to the end of the intake hose).
