Carbide End Mills for Milling Accessories

I had a broken 5/16" double flute tap in an aluminum head and bought these to turn the center of the tap and remove the thread edges. They cut like butter. The coating was intended for use on hard materials and has proven itself extremely well.

Good quality end mill

Arrived quickly. Nice packaging (says something about the product). I've worked with one before and they cut great. A couple of times I've had a barre rattle that would normally break a flute, but it carried like a champ. Great product, great price.

Pros
  • Sturdy finish
Cons
  • Wrinkled

Excellent product. Exceptional quality and performance. The 2 tooth model was the perfect choice for my needs as I cut soft material and produce a lot of chips. Excess material could easily rise up the bit and away from the cutting zone and then be blown away by an air hose. More flutes would have made this work much more difficult or almost impossible for me. Very satisfied.

  • Absolute legend

Much better than expected!

These cutters made an incredible impression on me. We cut 10 round solid maple tops. For milling, I bought a $35 white-sided milling cutter that broke after 30 minutes of use. I figured if we were making hits I'd buy a cheap kit in bulk. I installed the first of these tips and it lasted for the other nine tips. The quality of the cut wasn't perfect, but the breaks were minimal and everything was easy to clean when sanded afterwards. Highly recommended for quick production jobs in hardwoods!

  • Decent performance

"The best price "

Bought on recommendation. Used for milling 404 stainless steel. Coiled with just one bit to mill 6 pieces and the bit was still in perfect shape. Destroyed 3 more windmills while trying to complete the job. I had to order new beats and buy them on the internet based on a recommendation. The company said it would use the speed and feed they proposed over traditional specs. Followed her instructions and used sewing machine oil as a lubricant. The result is excellent surface quality and phenomenal

Worked well for my needs

I had to run an AL (7075-T6) with a Harbor Freight Mini grinder and it worked well. It had some chatter, but that's to be expected from double-edged routers anyway. I had to pull out a 1.25 inch deep pocket and down to the bottom of the pocket the chatter got a little worse but nothing serious. This is also to be expected from a tailor of this type. to allow the cutter to cut through its own chips as much as possible, and that helped. The finish was good enough for my needs, but I have a…

Strong, sharp and does the job. Finished 2 lower receivers 80% AR

I have used and abused this drill bit to cut and route the 2 lower ARs on my drill press. At the end of the second he started to blunt. However, I abused it when cutting aluminum and it worked really well. Remember that you will need to increase the speed of the drill for it to work properly with these bits. It still cuts, just dulled a bit by the amount of use. Much of the material was removed to complete 80% of the lower receivers. I would recommend and will definitely buy more for future…

I am very very surprised. I will buy them again and again.

I needed to cut cold rolled steel on a benchtop CNC. In general, steel is not the type of material you want to cut on a benchtop CNC, which is usually not as hard as it needs to be. But with some well thought out feeds and speeds it is possible. I bought a set of 2 flute cutters - ISE1/8"2T. And I am very impressed. I ran the machine at 15,000 chatters, the cut is smooth as butter and the final pass left a very nice finish on the You know what else the packaging of the end mills was very good…
