Dims very quickly on soft aluminum

Poor quality. I used it on my soft aluminum mini router and after a very short number of passes, not even 1/2" deep and 3" long, it dulled very quickly and stopped. I didn't even have 1 hour. garbage

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • Poor instructions

Good til break (my fault)

Cuts mild steel well but unfortunately the machine I've used isn't very hard (it's 3 in 1) and around 30 min. When cutting the groove, I got a vibration and the tips broke :( my fault, but before that everything was fine

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Update available

Cuts well, be careful with feed/speed

This cutter cuts very well, seems to last, got about 2 hours of cutting and it's still sharp. Settings from my typical use with a 1/4 EM 3 flute, as I've had some mechanical play (sometimes hardwood vs grain) with this router. -MAX. safety and durability) - Pitch: 40% - Feed: 75 ipm

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • ---

Nice sharp bit in router accessory

These bits are sharp and last a long time. I use them in a Shapeoko III with a Makita laminate trimmer as the spindle motor. Cuts with authority and lasts for several long CNC cutting sessions. It leaves a very clean finish. I am happy with it and plan to order more.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions

Mainly my fault the horror on aluminum

I thought if they cut steel they will cut aluminum. I was wrong. I use Speed Tiger bits which cut aluminum easily. They don't cut aluminum. I thought my machine would explode trying to score a notch. They also don't feel very sharp, at least compared to more expensive bits. I used to use cheap beats but they are terrible.

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Cuts well, watch out for feed/speed

This bit cuts very well, seems to be holding up, I've had about 2 hours of cutting and it's still sharp. Typical use is with a 1/4 EM triangular nut as I had some mechanical play (sometimes hardwood vs fiber) with this bit. -MAX. Fit Depth: 0.18" (0.2" will work, but I scaled it down a bit for security and durability reasons). ) - Pitch: 40% - Feed: 75 ipm

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires socket
