Description of Spyder 600038 Rapid Eject 3 5 Inch: Effortless Quick Release at its Finest
New Rapid Core eject holes saws allow you drop out the core at the touch of a button. Carbide tipped for exteneded life and clean cuts. Cuts 5x faster than standard hole saws. Cutting depth of up to 2".
I only managed to cut a hole in a wall before two of the four cutting tips broke. Luckily this was the only hole I had to cut. Otherwise this piece of junk wouldn't have brought me anything. Spend a little more for a quality hole saw.
I drilled three cider blocks with it. It worked fine, but I noticed that one of the four carbide teeth had come loose. I don't know if this is typical as this is my first experience with Spyder hole saws. I also bought the two inch version and will update after use.
This crown worked perfectly. I used it to pierce both the cement wall and cement foundation when installing the radon fan. The bit worked great and is still good enough to do more. I bought two, expecting to need one drill bit per rebar hole, but ended up only needing one. I would buy again if I didn't already have extra.
