they burn!

So far this wick has burned very well. I have ordered a second batch and will continue to use them. It is very convenient that you can cut the length you want. I use rather small soy suppositories. The only complaint is that they sometimes get caught in the wax, but that happens with most candles.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Disappear

No. 4/0 is not the same as No. 4! But it's a good wick.

I had no idea the size #4 and #4/0 didn't go together! So this size didn't fit my 2.75 inch beeswax/coconut oil/essential oil candle holder. He melted a pool 1.75 inches wide. The wick is fine, it was easy to cook, there was no smoke, there was a good flame. I will use it for smaller containers in the future!

Pros
  • Wow
Cons
  • boring packaging

Ideal for hand dipping taper candles

We have used these to make candles by dipping them in molten balls of fully refined paraffin - 3 lbs. and they worked great and burn well, nice and without even smoke (except the normal amount when you blow them out). We measured about 20 inches of the wick, tied clean studs to the ends (to make them heavier and let them hang straight while the candles are lit), and primed them before dipping them into the melted wax. If you're trying to dip candles and the wax doesn't build up on your string…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • New competition available
