Ideal for small family frozen meals. Possibly for 2-4 people depending on the portion size you want. I like that I can write on the lid. They also stack well in the freezer.

MY idea was to make meals and desserts and freeze them for later use over the next few months. They're great for that. So far I've made apple chips, fruit desserts, goulash, stews, etc. and frozen them, then I just have to bake them for about 20 minutes and I'm done. Aluminum lids are a plus. I usually use them 2-3 times before throwing them away.

Not 8"x8". These are 7" x 7" cans. They measure up to 1/2 inch on all sides for tin valves. So you can tell it's an 8x8 pan. I have an 8x8 inch jar and a metal pan. They measured up to an 8x8 pan. What a waste. I can't use it. Not all food fits in the pan. The tin lid is the only one measuring 8" x 8". I will never buy from them again. Hope the picture helps.

I ordered these as I cooked a few meals before my surgery. They're just right for a meal for four (or two with big appetites). I like metal lids that fit tightly around the edges and don't take up space. Since they are square, they also fit nicely together in the freezer. They're fairly durable, although you have to be careful lifting them when they're filled with hot food. Very happy with this purchase.

Now with only 2 people in our house my husband complains that I can't stop cooking for 5. These foil pans are the perfect answer to not constantly eating the same balances for several days. I just dump half of the recipe into one of these pans, cover with a foil lid, label with heat instructions and date, and pop in the freezer. Happy husband and wife when I'm not cooking on busy or lazy days! The lids are a dream, even soups and stews close well.

Exactly what I was hoping for - perfect size and good quality. I need them for the work I do steaming takeout food. I ordered these to help us cook Thanksgiving dinner. I like that they have lids, fold easily and don't take up much space in the fridge/freezer, but they're not strong at all. The foil is quite thin, so good if you don't need to transport your food somewhere else. If you intend to use these pans to freeze food, make sure you place them on a flat, stable surface in the freezer, such as a desk. to bake. I bought them because I wanted to bring food to my parents when they are in boarding house as I cannot visit them during the pandemic.
