A quality product that gets the job done. Unfortunately, to replace the original chain on my AddMotor HitHot 7 speed electric mountain bike, it was about 4 inches shorter. Not sure why. I skipped the master link that came with the new chain and added a 4" section from my old chain to get the new chain to the correct length. Learning how to properly use my new chain breaker tool took trial and error (and watching a few YouTube how-to videos), but with patience I succeeded and am now a master…

The chain fits my e-bike perfectly

If you have an 8 speed bike look no further. This circuit is very strong and when measured with a circuit tester it barely reaches 0.25 and that's when I force it. The chain is perfect for my e-bike. I have tried many circuits. kmc, shimano etc. I recently bought a gold kmc chain from China. (The reason I bought it is because it is gold in colour) and it was packaged very nicely in a sturdy plastic case similar to the one that this necklace comes in. This chain is very chainable

The 830 is at the low end of SRAM, the company that I think makes the best chains. It's basically the same as their more expensive models, just heavier. And since this happens on a 38 pound fat bike, I don't care about the chain weight. What's really important to me is reliability and durability and this vacuum ticks both the boxes. You see, the aforementioned fat bike lives a rough and unforgiving life, usually in its natural habitat, covered in beach sand or at a parking meter outside Mo's…

Who needs a simple link? (Power Link in this case)

I've been using Taya and Sram chains for ages. I still have a new Taya from 15+ years ago that I'm going to completely rebuild on top of an old Schwinn Traveler. However, I prefer PINS on Sram chains to any other brand. Her ends are slightly raised instead of deepening. When using the Taya quick connector I had trouble opening it while driving. Although the Sram Pro Link quick connector uses a different connection method and mechanism, I have chosen to bypass these connections in favor of a…
