Good value for money.

This is the only way to go if you want a simple and reliable 10 speed rear derailleur at a good price. No Switch system is easy to set up, but they're better than most.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Upgrades

Not worth one bit for my son

Hi and low switching needs a bit of tweaking. Be honest, wait and see if it comes back or not. Not recommended for children under middle school age.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Works Great Genuine Sram Parts

Original SRAM switch. I have never used GX. It moves fairly well and is solidly built without being heavy. I put it on a Specialized cyclocross bike that I converted to flat handlebars. Used it on gravel, single track and paved roads in various conditions and works great.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Expensive

Great so far. for cycling

My 9 year old SRAM X7 rear derailleur has finally died. I don't need to buy a new bike as the 2012 custom enduro I have rides like new. But the X7 exploded. I wanted to buy XO for $140 then I saw GX. I'll reiterate what others have said here: the aluminum case looks a lot nicer than the plastic cases you're likely to replace. It was easy to install. Shifts are precise, crisp and light - very light on the thumb. Can't comment on durability yet, but so far it's amazing. And 100 less than XO.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
