This fuel line and fittings look great but after less than 200 miles at the low pressure used as recommended (constant 46psi) it never reaches the 2000psi maximum pressure. the line broke in the customer's car. You can see in the video there is a tear under the nylon and this could be a death trap for anyone.

It's ok if you go to Amazon you don't have to expect quality anymore. This product was no different. I knew where I shopped, I knew China dominated everything on Amazon. So when I opened the package and nothing fell apart in my hand, I realized I could use some of that pile. this is the best one can hope for these days. Sad

Even while measuring and cutting to length I noticed a slight fraying in the nylon fabric. Other than that, the fittings work well and appear to be of pretty decent quality. Update: It's been about 3 weeks since install and I've ridden about 30 miles. No leaks, no noticeable seepage. During installation, I bent one of the AN 120° screw connections and was afraid that it might leak. It's not like this. I always keep 43psi. Hope that helps!

I installed these fittings for my fuel system on a endurance (8 hour race) car, one of the 45 degree fittings was leaking right at the pivot. 8AN female connectors were carelessly screwed onto male connectors purchased from the same supplier. As they neared the touch/ground point, I placed my wrench on them and, with minimal effort (less than 1/2 turn), bent the strands right out (which touched little). As I initially suspected. Beside me lay a pair of Earls & Russell horseshoes, and they were wound onto a silky smooth surface with no threads running through. value for money? I installed this fuel line kit and within a week one of the fuel lines broke. It didn't leak from the fitting, it burst and ran down the middle of the hose. 3 months passed and another hose burst and gas squirted everywhere. The defective piece of hose was routed in a straight line along the roll cage tube. The hose shows signs of collapse in the form of a spiral and then a weak point at the point of fracture. Steel wires protrude from the nylon mesh everywhere. The hoses were not damaged…

UPDATE: After 800 miles the hose was leaking horribly. Due to the nylon braid, I can't tell if it's snapped or torn. I ended up losing 3 liters of gear oil before I could detect the leak. I hobbled to the nearest parts store and bought a 12 foot 3/8 high pressure fuel injector hose. I was able to change the hose in about 25 minutes. Be aware this hose is of poor quality and can cause you to burn your transmission or worse use it on a fuel line and start a fire. It's not worth it. Just make it…
