Will not fit Samurai

I bought this because it was listed as a matching part for the Suzuki Samurai preheated airbox hose. Not that. It's a good 1ft+ too short and undersized in diameter.

Perfect fit for a 1995 Chevy Silverado C1500 TBI 350 5.7L with a stock air intake. Beautiful and shiny. When I lengthened and shaped it, I had to bypass the spark plug wires and dipstick; I noticed that it looks like good stuff. It's a beautiful and powerful feeling.

Used as an air preheat hose on a 1980 Datsun 720: I measured the diameter of the hole on the air intake pipe and on the steel plate of the exhaust cover where hot air was vented: 1.5 inches accurate , everyone. This hose is designed for 1.5 inches. Just as. I assumed it could stretch a little since it had to match the OD - that didn't happen - the hose does extend in length, but it practically doesn't "bend" in diameter, it did so don't take a little fiddling and cut the metal off.
