Knives quickly become blunt. The pliers are fine.

I think it's good value for money. The wire cutters became dull after about a year and would no longer cut the wire. These were thrown away. I really like the needles and use them every day. Slip joint pliers are simply pliers.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Doubtful

It was such a good price that I decided to order and donate them.

It was such a good price I thought I'd order these and give them away to my quilting group as they often ask for a pair but when they arrived they were from much better quality than the more expensive ones in my tool box. So I kept them and donated the rest.

Pros
  • Beautifully packaged
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Inexpensive tools for everyday use.

Cheap but good. After 7 years the dip coating on the grips was getting sticky and I only came in to look for a replacement for the main coating that I used a lot. Based on other Stanley tools I own I would recommend the more expensive ones with the yellow rubber handles. But for the tools available, it's amazing.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Wrinkled

but it does a great job so I have nothing to complain about

Probably not the best tool set but it does what I need, which admittedly is very little. I think I mostly just use one of these to unscrew my vape tank when it gets too cramped to unscrew with my weak little pansies, but it does the job perfectly so can't complain.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

You do the work!

I don't know how to describe tools but as a woman I like tools that aren't too heavy but get the job done. If I take any of the tools in this set they are not too heavy and get the job done. In addition, they will last for many years as they are very durable. I think that's the best rating I can give! I love these tools!

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • A bit torn

LARGE HIGH QUALITY TOOL KIT

These tools are very strong and of high quality. Must be used for life. The only drawback is the packaging. It took me over an hour to free them from their shell-shaped captivity, and I even have a special shell-cutting tool. Stanley definitely doesn't want people to steal any part of the set. The price was great for this quality product. I just wish it wasn't impossible to open.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Some problems

Great little set for the money

I bought two of these as they are very comfortable. Pliers are the ones I use 99% of the time, but they're all reliable tools. After losing my favorite pair of pliers I bought 3-4 needle nose pliers before finally loving this set. I bought Klein, Craftsman etc. I liked these much better, so I bought two sets. I'm picky about pliers. Otherwise, I really like the American brand Klein.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Very happy with my purchase.

Although I didn't use them for heavy work, they did what I needed. a piece of zip-tie-like material wrapped around one of the tools. Easy to use, fits perfectly in the hand. They appear to be reliable tools and I am happy with my purchase. Great addition to my tool box.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • disappears

If it's too cheap to be true, then it's probably too cheap to use.

This review is from: Stanley 84-114 Set of 3 Easy 6" Spline Joints, 6" Long Nose and 6" Diagonal Pliers. I bought this set because I'm over 50 the pliers are gone. Stanley used to make quality instruments. They are not. Connecting bolts on multi-tooth pliers misaligned and loose - jaws not making proper contact. The grip material looks like it's asking to be peeled off. Spend more and get something decent. These are cheap disposable instruments.

Pros
  • Power & Hand Tools
Cons
  • Ugly Packaging

By price. A-OK

A little concerned that low price would mean poor quality and they aren't the best I've seen but mine was a lot worse. The long lugs and wire cutters are tight and work well, but the pliers are flimsy and a bit loose, but tighten easily with a wrench on the nut (you insert a bolt in the center of the slot and squeeze the handles to tighten them to keep ). while dressing). They look like they might rust in a damp place, but in Southwest Texas I don't have that problem. I lose stuff like this all

Pros
  • Pliers Set
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others

3 products for such a solid price!

I haven't had them for a very long time but like many Stanley products they seem to be solidly built. All of them have a comfortable non-slip grip and a beautiful metal finish. I don't really notice the look of the tool, but just wanted to notice the property. The slip joint and side cutouts are very strong and work just as well as anything I've used. They lost the star on the needle nose. It's not that the pliers are bad, they're just a bit bigger and thicker than I expected. I think it's my…
