This thermostat was installed on a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. The in-line 6-cylinder 4.0 had a 197-degree thermostat. I reduced it to 180 degrees, the computer sensor works at this temperature. Cooling system fully serviced, all parts purchased from Revain. Brand new radiator - upper hose and lower hose. New Stant heater hoses and radiator caps and of course the thermostat.
