Efficient and Reliable Carbide Hole Saw

This hole saw is a game changer for my industrial and scientific needs. It cuts through thick materials with ease and the carbide tip ensures longevity. The quick hitch feature also saves me time on drills and swaps. My only complaint is that it's a bit pricier than other options in the market, but the quality more than makes up for it. Overall, highly recommended for any cutting job.

Pros
  • High quality carbide tips for durability and precision.
Cons
  • Expensive compared to other quick hitch options on the market.

Worked great in a tough job

It helped. Combined with a Starrett KD0200-N diamond core bit. a pre-existing drainage pit/pipe that drains onto the street next to my property. I connected this to a Dewalt 20V wireless device. The mandrel holds the massive crown in place with no problems, no need for it to be installed etc. I have had no issues or problems with this shaft and would buy this brand again if needed. .It worked flawlessly, as did Arbor.

Pros
  • Power tool parts and accessories
Cons
  • Not sure

Not the usual Starrett quality.

As good as Starrett tools usually are, and expensive as they are, I expected more from this stock. I have similar holders from Milwaukee, Bosch, and Diablo, but I bought this Starrett because it came with a carbide center drill that I could just leave in the box with my diamond core bits. This particular pavilion, as designed, is virtually useless. It was stiff right out of the box so I oiled it and shook it back and forth a few times to loosen it up. If it's a hole saw (also made by Starrett),

Pros
  • Tools and Housewares
Cons
  • Long lead time
