Ports are too close. for computers and accessories

I've used it sporadically for a few months and it seems fine, but the connectors aren't spaced far enough for regular 3/4" wide flash drives to fit side by side. If some of your flash drives are ½". are wide you can nest them, but sometimes all the files you want to work with are on ¾ inch wide flash drives.

Celebration. Hubs on Hubs

UPDATE: I'm now convinced that the problems I described were caused by the USB DAC itself. I switched from the obviously old ODAC to Topping D10 and no longer had the problem described. Change the rating to 5 and leave the original post verbatim below ------------------------ -------- In my experience, StarTech makes the difference reliable stuff. This hub has limitations, but it's most likely either the USB 2.0 protocol or Windows. I'm not sure which, but either way it wasn't worth…

Just does the job perfectly!

This USB hub does its job and works perfectly! I really thought the item would be bigger but it's a cute little thing that's lightweight and perfect for what I needed it for. it had a strange smell, almost like chewing gum mixed with something else, and didn't look very pretty. Regardless, the product arrived undamaged and is an established and trusted brand. !

Works great on Windows 10

I needed a few extra ports on my laptop for an external mouse and keyboard. It works great on my Windows 10 PC. I don't even use the included power adapter as I only use my mouse and keyboard. If you plan on using an external hard drive, I would recommend using the included power adapter.

It didn't work, the solder didn't go away

I tried everything. New cables, different aspect ratio, different HDMI ports. Video cannot be removed. I have returned the item for a full refund. Very disappointed. I transferred Hi8 footage from the camera itself (the video in the camcorder's viewfinder was fine) to two different TVs (one HD, the other 4K HD).

Great USB hub. Ready to use

This really is a lifesaver. I have quite a large setup in my home office - a computer, two monitors, two external hard drives, speakers, a printer, etc. I eventually ran out of USB ports on my computer. This hub worked right out of the box. There are no drivers. Truly plug and play. I plugged it into a USB port on my computer (windows 10), waited about 5 seconds and all devices worked. I suggest using an extra power adapter if you can avoid overloading your computer's USB port. I have two…
