These are great for the price. We purchased them for our family camping trip, and just wanted some inexpensive walkies. These aren't fancy by any means, but they are great for the average person.

I am a senior citizen, my son's bedroom is at the opposite end of the house, if I need him in the night he can now hear me. The walkie-talkies may not have a speaker jack!

I bought these for camping but the kid’s have been playing with them. My nephew can go all the way to the park down the street and still have a clear signal back to the house. I was surprised with the signal strength. Overall build quality is pretty impressive as well. I’m looking forward to taking these up the mountain on my hike up Grey Rock next weekend. As you would expect, low power gmrs radios have limited range. In my area trees limit me to no more than 1/3 mile before sound breakes up.Quality okay. Product is ok. Wasn’t aware that it would pick up other radio users, depending on the channel you put it on. Still need to take more time to learn and use it.For the price, its ok. I would not want to use it in an emergency situation. For my use, it will do.

I bought these for my husband, but we’ve actually sent them with our kids to go walk around the neighborhood and check in with us. They have great range, sound quality and I bought them for Christmas, we charged them and haven’t had to charge them yet and they get used almost every day. Great buy!

Bought these for across the country move with moving truck and driving a car. It's so much easier than making cell calls and works where there is no cell signal. Good range, but never got two miles. Charge overnight and drive all day long (10 hours, or more) and have power left over.

While we won’t be returning these as they work well enough it would be more helpful if there were better directions on how the functions work.

I wanted more information on functions and some examples. Overall it sounds good, works like it says, have only put its first charge on I’m not sure how much power they come with but the ran out of power fairly quickly. And it got here quickly.

I ordered this for the stated battery life and the confirmation of battery life from the revain customer reviews. I will be mainly using this for road trip communication between vehicles. I saw people complain that it did not come with batteries but mine came with 6 Ni-MH 1000mAh batteries so no complaints here even thou I ordered se better batteries also.

Very helpful that you can use more than one set together. I had one from a couple of years ago and couldn't find the other one, so I bought these two and they all three work together. I only wish I could find the 4th one!

I used these in two different situations; for my mom to contact me in the night if she needed me (a push-button alert sound), and rest stop communications between two vehicles on a road trip. They work very well and the instructions were fairly simple to follow.

They're simple and very easy to use. Pop in the batteries, turn on the channel, ready to go. You can fiddle around with the settings, have it be push to talk or pick up noise sensitivity for hands free walkie use. They'll be great for when out and about in a large crowd or hiking, but my kids (small boys) love using them already. Haven't tested the maximum range (or even long range) but close up (within the house) the sound clarity is good, volume gets loud, has a remote finder page feature…

I like that rechargeable batteries are provided, but like recommended, they should be replaced. The headphone jack is also nice, fitting regular headphones. Overall the radio can easily fit into a hand and the functions are pretty simple to learn. Another odd thing I noticed was I could pick up NOAA, though only when it starts up.
