I like this style better. It worked perfectly - not sure why if I fiddled with the old cap the gas would leak out every time I leaned or bent. I turned the fan on its side, no leaks, everything is perfect. I ordered on Monday, comes a day earlier than stated, today I had it on my porch. I added before and after photos

Fits my Echo PAS-265 powerhead. However, the latch that holds the tank cap to the block when unscrewing it from the fuel tank is defective. The latch on the underside of the gas cap does not rotate. When you put the cap on the latch, everything turns. I don't think the retainer will last very long.

Echo 210 doesn't work with my old trimmer. The thread on the lid has a different pitch than the thread on the tank. It was not even possible to attach it to the tank. My son has a later model Echo and it has worked well for him. Fun fact, his old gas cap worked on my old tank. live and learn At the next OEM.

Worked great - I don't know why when I've been messing around with an old cracked cap as much as I have for the past few years - and oh my god I ordered an ad Saturday night it was on one Sunday morning on the porch of the mine. I don't know HOW this is even possible. I'm older and I remember reading the fine print when I placed an order saying you have to wait 6-8 weeks for something to be delivered. You have to love technology.

Beautiful tank cap. It fit my ECHO 225 but was a bit tricky to screw onto the filler neck. Although the threads were the same as my old cap, this cap was a lot more of a hassle to tighten. I had to be careful with the initial installation because for some reason it wanted to cross over. I definitely didn't want to have to buy a tank. When it was on it didn't leak and my trimmer worked fine. Hopefully after a few uninstalls and installs it will be easier to use.
