Description of Step-down DC-DC converter LM2596 with voltmeter

Step-down DC-DC converter based on the LM2596S chip with a built-in LED voltmeter to display the input or output voltage. If necessary, the voltmeter can be turned off. The left button is responsible for turning on or off the LED voltmeter, the right button is responsible for selecting the voltage that should be displayed on the LED indicator - input or output. On the board, near the input and output connectors, SMD LEDs (IN and OUT) are installed, which indicate which connector the built-in voltmeter is currently connected to. The output voltage is controlled by a potentiometer on the board. Characteristics: Input voltage: 4V-40V Output voltage: 1.3V-35V Output current: 2A (3A max when using a heatsink) Efficiency: 92% PWM frequency: 65 kHz Output Ripple: 30mV Accuracy: ± 0.5V Working temperature: from -40 to +84 degrees. Celsius Dimensions: 43mm x 21mm x 14mm

Nice price, good quality.

A good device is very convenient that there is a display, you can see the current at the input and output. The assembly is not straight good, two contacts at the output were not soldered. It happens that the current jumps at the output. Perhaps not stable operation is associated with the soldering of components. Has some pros: It is convenient that there is a display, you can see the current at the input and output. Has cons: Two contacts at the output were not soldered. It happens that the…
