This never worked, I hooked it up to the third brake light which is LED on my 2014 Prius C according to the instructions. I liked the idea of the extra security but now I'm REALLY angry about it. I didn't have a ground connection on the top gate, but that's not a problem. I cut both wires going to the top brake LED block. I connected all four ground wires together. This is the floor I just cut in two, plus the two black ones from the block. I then connected the LED assembly's hot wire to the output and the car's hot brake to the input. The LED-only version of this device flashes the LEDs so fast it's hard to count and, unlike devices from other manufacturers, can be restarted instantly.

I bought one of these for my 2012 Kawasaki Ninja 250. The first one I bought (from another seller) didn't work. Instead of replacing with another one, I bought THIS from this seller. I noticed a slight delay when turning on the module (the brake worked) before the blinking started, so I checked the input and Output viewed on the oscilloscope. See attached screenshot of the area. The blue curve is the input voltage of the module and the yellow curve is the output voltage of the module (brake light control). I've already ordered two of these and I love them. I installed the first on one of my cars and the next on my mother's car. It's worth noting that when I installed one on my machine, I accidentally plugged it in the wrong way round.
