Footprints on first two pages

Right out of the box it had footprints on several pages, the paper is good I've used it before but now a few pages are unsuitable for watercolor as those footprints are stepped on

This paper has been reduced in quality!

When I first tried this product I was amazed! I even bought it several times in different sizes and in a magazine. That was last year, although the last few times I've felt overwhelmed and disappointed. The paper looked and felt cold pressed and was 100% cotton. It had teeth and felt thick in your hands. Some standard features are missing

I bought a 6" x 8" travel notebook, a 5" x 8" magazine and a 7" x 10" magazine. I've attached some pictures to show the pros and cons. All three have thin covers that are thinner than cheaper small magazines. I suspect the covers will be bent or torn at the end of a long ride. It looks like they will eventually dissipate as shown in my photos…

Pros
  • 100% cotton cold pressed watercolor paper
Cons
  • Some bugs
