Let's see!: Heaters and Stoves

So I bought this stove for my 27 foot Travco to replace a 50 year old stove and after reading a few reviews I found it for 1 / 2 in stock by Revain. The price so I thought "why not?" Since it was a comeback I knew it was a gamble and when I received the package I realized this unit looked like it was from an angry installer thrown across the room! Sturdy and pretty easy to install.

A block came with an igniter and a compression clip that was in a case. I was able to carefully reinstall it and the oven worked as usual. However, I'm afraid that it won't withstand the shocks of travelling. The time will show.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Hard to say

Outstanding HVAC Heater

We installed this heater on our 19 year old vacation vehicle after a Suburban NT-12S failed. It heats up the van quickly and doesn't use excessive amounts of propane. We used the heater and fridge in the van for 3 weeks before adding about 7 gallons of propane to the tank. The fan is a bit noisy but we could learn to sleep with it.

Pros
  • Best in the niche
Cons
  • Requires outlet

Old fashioned and crappy quality, poorly assembled

Bought this product to replace a 1987 stove in our motor home. I'm very surprised that there are so few competitors, so I had to settle for this model. Received in good condition. Still surprised at how cheap and very old fashioned this product was to assemble, I quickly noticed that some parts were misaligned (see photos). The evaluation revealed poor assembly as the device was not screwed into the correct hole, resulting in misalignment. After fixing this error, I decided to try starting the…
