cool cool locks!

I didn't know they had a lock when I bought them. They've gone from good to excellent! Nothing is stolen in the engine and they look great!

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Annoying

Good product! - Bonnet Pins

I just installed these bonnet latches today and it took about 20-30 minutes. They are super muscular and very heavy! They look great and are very safe!

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Some cons

Easy installation for air intakes and hood outlets

This will prevent anyone from trying to open the hood. The adjustment screw is a little long and I'll have to shorten it, but I'm amazed at how strong they are.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Note: Exterior Accessories

After reading about stealing a gladiator from someone on a Jeep Gladiator forum I ordered them. Ease of installation. It took about twenty minutes. No directions included but pretty straight forward. Appearance is good too. The locking mechanism works perfectly. A bit pricey but better than non-locking hinges.

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • Disappearance

Impressed!: Bonnet Pins

Installed them today and they were a lot easier than expected; It took me maybe 15 minutes. You will need your own set of metric wrenches and ideally one should be short and/or ball point. It's really easy with the right tools. They look great and have an impressive build quality considering their price. Time will tell how they hold up but I am very happy with my purchase.

Pros
  • Brilliantly Done
Cons
  • Damaged

No quick install.

First of all, there are no "instructions" but it is easy to understand. Check out YT if you absolutely have to. You will need both metric and standard sockets and allen wrenches for installation. If installing on a 2009 Wrangler, you will need to either ream or re-drill the factory holes on the original lower hood latch. I will not list all screw sizes etc. Just be prepared that this won't be a quick install, but it can be done.

Pros
  • Solid design
Cons
  • Repair

Not exactly "lock ".

Where I'm from the lock has a unique key. Judging by the pictures there is nothing unique in the key. The "key" in the first photo has side slots that correspond to the bars at the tip of the pen (second photo). You press and twist and the pin is released. From this point of view we can say that they are protected but not blocked. I see two problems here.1. Everyone who bought a set of these "locks" has a "key". The key opens all other similar items. So if you buy one and I buy one, my "key"…

Pros
  • Always loved
Cons
  • I won't say anything
