Fancy sockets: Custom Drive sockets

I needed a square drive impact wrench bit to undo a drain plug that's buried where I can't reach with a wrench. Did exactly the right job.

Inexpensive and does what it's supposed to do

The perfect tool for unscrewing a boiler drain cock after the jackets are in place. Thanks to the seller who is increasing the price of this trusty tool during the pandemic and to others who are selling the same tool for an amazing 2-3 times more.

Quality workmanship, tight tolerances, right size for 1-1/8 " square head screws/plugs

This is an 8 point head, ignore the product image. I have attached the images, to show the original product on this review. This is just what I needed to remove a 1.5" square head 1.125" pipe plug from my water heater. High impact, extra heavy, tight fit, inexpensive. What can I do dislike?

Requires 1-1/8” square plug

Good quality, good price. Steam Boiler Mclain PEG. The square head of the plug is 1-1/8" and the more common 6 point sockets will NOT fit. This 8 point socket on a corded percussion gun and a week of AeroKroil spray twice a day finally nailed it!
