Use caution when using a Fisher/Paykel bearing kit.

Recommended for installation of Fisher/Paykel Drum Bearing Kit. However, I had to make the wall of the nest even thinner to fit through the drum.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Not suitable for dryer repair purchase

Sold as thin walled to fit inside dryer opening and did not fit near. I had to sharpen it to fit. Should have been because it was sold as an item that would fit with replacement parts.

Pros
  • Heavy duty construction
Cons
  • Replacement available

Definitely not "thin-walled "!

This is by no means a "thin wall" outlet. I bought to gain access after selling narrow bore lug nuts. It has the same wall thickness as the 22mm socket in my "Standard" set. Looks well done. I decided to stay in reserve and not pay for the return shipping.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • You could have chosen a newer model

not as thin as I was hoping for

Needed to remove a round nut from a fairly thick aftermarket aluminum wheel. It wasn't thin enough to go into the nut hole and pull the nut out. I ended up buying a cheap 22mm head and sanding the outside with a bench grinder, which worked. I can't say it's particularly thinner than any other power socket.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Out of date

Will not fit Fisher Paykel bearing bore

This product was shown as an option for a bearing kit for Fisher Paykel dryers. He claimed it was a very thin socket. Good thing I have a bench grinder. In its current form, this bushing does not fit into the bearing bore that receives the bearing shaft. I would advise you to make a disclaimer if you are selling this item with Fisher Paykel parts.

Pros
  • Easy Install
Cons
  • Quick Start Guide

Good workmanship, reasonable price and flexibility

Robust and high-quality construction. I bought this to remove a bearing from a Fisher-Paykel dryer and was warned that I would have to grind about .020" diameter to fit the dryer bushing. The extra length of this socket came in handy when working with a fitting that is under or behind an obstruction. The metal had good composition as it took the belt sander and drill assembly three tries to remove .020"!

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Protection

NOT EXACTLY what I need to fix Fisher Paykel

I bought this driver so I can fix my dryer. I had to sand the outer wall as I knew it to fit the drum. Then I realized that for some reason the screwdriver has a curved and angular interior at the very edge of the screwdriver hole - it can't directly touch the nut I'm unscrewing! In this case, the nut will be pushed out, maybe a millimeter and a half, this driver will not catch. I had to sand the entire outside edge to get to the flat surface of the inside hole so I could mount it onto the nut.

Pros
  • Builds Confidence
Cons
  • Interval

Ordered to replace bearing and shaft in Fisher Paykel Smart Load Dryer. According to many YouTube DIY videos, you need a thin wall socket to access the nut on the bearing shaft. Many videos describe how to "grind" the bushing to fit the hole holding the bearing assembly. On Revain's website, this is the recommended accessory for bearing and shaft assembly. This is a standard size 22m or 7/8 head. It will not work. Went to Home Depot looking for a "thin wall" container and found it was identical

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions
