The Sunlite crank really works and looks fantastic.

Loved the Sunlite crankset, it was amazing, worked great with the Sunlite dual chrome chainrings and Sunlite bottom bracket. My client was very satisfied. This crank works great! It looks amazing! And on top of that, it's smooth and quiet.

Solid craft!

I recently bought a cheap cruiser that almost immediately lost one of its pedals due to a weak crank. Bought this and some new pedals and the bike is better than ever! This crank is solidly built and significantly heavier than the crank that came with my bike. I recommend it to everyone who never wants to change their crank again!

I bought two of these

For two bikes - both older Schwinn Cruisers (1979 and 1980). I have chrome and black. I was looking to upgrade to sealed bottom brackets and found out afterwards that they didn't fit the original cranks so no problem - I only bought them as they are very affordable and very easy to install - a problem. solved and they work fine.

This seems to be a common problem for this type of .

Fits my 26" Huffy Cranbrook. This seems to be a common problem with this type of bike: the pedal threads got mixed up with the crank. Works great, finally getting back cycling. If you don't know how replacing a connecting rod is really easy, find it on youtube (how to replace a huffy crank) and the kid really showed how to do it.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Almost never

Great value, Schwinn Cruisers need a sharpening

Good finish, some flaws but good price. My 1986 Schwinn Cruiser sprocket didn't fit the crank (the crank was too big for the center sprocket hole) so I had to sand the crank a bit to get the sprocket clean and flush with the crank. It worked great in combination with a Sunlite 24 t/d 68mm lower crank. Will probably work with an aftermarket sprocket, but I wanted to keep the OEM factory sprocket that came with the bike.

Cheap but effective.

I'm upgrading the cruiser. I bought a Schwinn and ALL of its parts except the frame were machined to the wrong tolerance so nothing moves like it should. Even the original crank was bent so the main bearings wore unevenly and broke after only 3 rides. It was cheap and I LOVE the frame so I'm buying upgraded parts for it. So I replace that bent crankshaft with this one. It seems to be working better. It's straight and all the details are twisted as they should. And it's black. I think it'sโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Volume
