I ordered one of these thinking it would be similar to the ones we had when I went to school in the early 90's. It's not that strong foam and it doesn't support you at all. It was a waste of my money. I save it for a small child when he comes to our house for a bath.

Just the right size for our 4 year old son. Probably not suitable for children over 5-6 years old as they are small. It has given our son the confidence to learn to swim and he finds it just plain fun. No complaints. Bright red in color and kept in good shape after summer bathing.

I train in the pool at least 3 times a week. I can do this 24/7 because I live in Los Angeles. After swimming and 30 minutes of aerobic exercise, I use this sturdy helper for the remaining 15 minutes to keep me moving while I focus on strengthening my legs. In the post-pandemic era, swimmers are now required to bring their own gear, which I prefer anyway. When I bought this kickboard, I certainly made the right choice.

We bought these for our two children, one of whom is still learning to swim and the other is more independent. This board is ideal for both, it's the perfect size for students, not too big and not too small. Great for big kids to play with too, but still offers a little support and security when they need it. They're a bit shorter than what you can find in Local Y, but they're thick enough and not thin. The only problem is how they are packaged - a piece of hard cardboard or something similar might help. The green one has a slight dent on the side and a bit of warping - not too bad. Black has good warp, enough to be noticed. I'll put something flat and heavy on top and leave it in the sun to see if that helps. Not the worst I've encountered sailing, but you can end up with a warped board - hopefully

Ordered 2 of these for my kids in their seasonal 12ft pool in the backyard. That's a good boat. It has some flexibility and it's not the "hard" foam sheets I remember from my childhood. Instead they are a little pliable and a little soft to the touch while still being hard rather than a giant wet sponge. Nice design but smaller and thinner than expected. The numbers given are accurate (28 x 9 inches) but I suspect the kids in the photos are very small because the board looks a lot smaller in person. The photo of the child lying on the board and kicking it is also a bit suspicious. , because in real life the board would be bent in a crescent shape.
