Too much good

Some other reviewers have added 120 pound supports for storage under their RV bed. Our bed had 2 x 80lb supports which after adding thick memory foam was not enough. In fact, it was very difficult now. Now with 2 props at 120lbs that's TOO MUCH. It almost pops out on its own (this can happen even with good roughness) and is very difficult to depress. I ended up with a 120lb post and one of the original 80lb posts. It's not straight, but at least it's manageable. Should have bought 2 props for…

It worked amazingly well on the body cover of my GMC fiberglass truck.

I have a GMC pickup with a heavy one-piece fiberglass cover that won't lift when it's cold outside. I bought the car when she was about 15 years old. I always had to leave the lid open when opening, but it stayed in place by itself. Now that I've replaced the gas springs, the lid goes up by itself when the lid is opened. The only downside is that I have to pull hard on the lid to close it. I wish there was a way to adjust the pressure. I suspect it will lose some of its pressure over time. But…

Suspa 120lb Gas Springs Great product made in the USA

I have used 120lb Suspa gas springs on a newly added 4 foot trailer ramp. I made a ramp out of 3/16" square tubing and angled iron to support the weight of our UTV. I can lift it but my wife wanted to lift it too. In the picture I used two 120 lbs then two 80's Added lbs and now she can lift it.They are really strong and you need something to squeeze them. Also they are too strong for most standard mounts (that bend or pull the ball.) I've done my own in angle iron and bought some Revain ball…

Great product for easy extra storage in your caravan or van!

Worked great! I installed them under my bed for easy access to extra storage. When installing I decided to reinforce the 2'x6' bottom bracket for extra support; The RV's frame is constructed of 2x2 foot lumber, so I figured it would need more support for the torque being applied to the mounts. I am very happy with my purchase; Knowing they were made in the USA made it even better. I have a suggestion for those completing a project; Once you have the struts in place, it's almost impossible to…

Mattress with pillow was very good BUT

BACKGROUND: Traded TT for a new 2016 FR Wildcat. Mattress was very good with pillows BUT. We missed the 4 inch gel topper we had at TT. The topper came from Sam's Club for $99 and even came with a new mattress and pillow when we added the 4 inch gel top. so heavy the gas struts couldn't lift it and it took two of us to put things in and out of the under bed storage. SOLUTION: FR uses 80# gas shocks and it turns out that changing to a taller one is possible without replacing the ball mounts. We…
