Description of πŸ€ 2 Pack of Swax Training Baseballs

LESS FEAR IF HIT: This softer training baseball is ideal for young players learning to play catch while taking out the fear of getting hit by a painful hard ball. The Swax Training Baseball is the same size and weight as a regulation baseball. This ball travels about 50% less when hit with a bat compared to a real baseball making it ideal for use indoors and limited space environments. The ball is hand sewn making it durable enough to be thrown and hit. Ideal for players 12 and under. Official training ball of Pony Baseball and Softball.

Great for learning to catch the ball without fear of a hard hit.

I have been using this product with my 5 and 6 year old for several weeks now. Now I play/practice ball with my sons without fear of getting hit. Accelerates the learning process. If your child is hit in the face with a hard ball while playing ball, they will usually back away or close their eyes for a while afterwards. It takes a while to beat that out of them but with SWAX balls they hit the ball in the chest/face and don't really hurt them so keep playing.

Pros
  • The Swax practice baseball is the same size and weight as a standard baseball.
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Best Practice Ball I've Found

These exercise balls have really helped my six year old son get better. He was fairly used to catching balls thrown to either side of him, but still flinched at anything that came straight at him. He also used poor technique on flying balls so he didn't have to catch them anywhere near the area above his face. Working with these balls solved both problems. They let me throw the ball anywhere and helped him gain confidence knowing he was going to catch it. You can do the same with a tennis ball…

Pros
  • LESS FEAR OF HITTING: This softer practice baseball is perfect for young players learning to play the ball by eliminating the fear of being hit by a painful hard ball.
Cons
  • Fits

The perfect ball to play with a young player

I have never written a review but have searched a lot for a ball that I can be confident throwing lines at my older son with a ball that is the size and weight of a real ball. I have a bit of a wild hand and don't even trust Incrediball, they're still too strong for a kid who missed half their catch. THAT is the only thing. He throws like a baseball, but he can hit them in the nose and they'll shake him right away and throw him back. And it still sounds and feels like a baseball when it hits…

Pros
  • Ideal for players under 12 years old.
Cons
  • Very expensive
