Stunning: Screws

I bought these to have some screws to drive in with a drill bit for a small wood furniture repair/enhancement. *These are all very long so if you need short screws for everything you're out of luck *thinner screws won't turn with a regular Philips head, I had to screw them in with the tiny PH00 screwdriver from my computer repair kit I was planning to use to use my drill or at least my big screwdriver, no luck * the metal is very soft, they come off easily

Pros
  • Brass plating for rust and corrosion protection
Cons
  • No performance

Terrible quality good for wood screws

It took me a few tries to get the screws into the wall. 2 pulled completely halfway into the wall and I had to manually unscrew them to try again. I then drilled a pilot hole and removed another screw before finally attaching one. Then I switched to the second rack with hooks, and it screwed in almost all the way, and the head broke off (see photo). That might be fine if you're screwing drywall and they don't need to take any load, but if you have to strain to screw them in, they're terrible…

Pros
  • Supplied in polypropylene storage box with chart in quick select box lid
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

too soft for anyone to use

I bought these to screw in the paddle lock on a boat. I drilled pilot holes and screwed in the screws. The head fell off before the last corner. In the process, he also broke off the head of another screw holding the rudder lock. Now I have a boat that needs propellers right where the other two propellers are. I can't drill out the other screws because that would widen the holes too far to fit future screws. It's a small thing, but that's why I can't row my rowboat now. 3 years building boat…

Pros
  • Phillips drive flat head
Cons
  • No instructions
