With this kit I repaired a non-working clock that was used for decoration for many years. It was easy and now I have a perfectly working watch where before I only had a decorative piece.

A few years ago an earthquake ripped our kitchen clock off the wall and destroyed the gear in the mechanism. I ended up getting fed up with a watch that was only right twice a day and ordered this movement. It was easy to install and keeps time very well.

Well packaged and looks decent enough. But the minute and hour hands were miscut. The hole for the hour hand was too small and also tore when putting it on. The minute hand didn't fit at all as the hole was too small for the "oval" shank. Luckily I had the old arrows from the previous part and they fit perfectly.

I ordered this movement for an old watch that I wanted to repair. When trying to install it, I found that the hands didn't fit the shaft - the minute hand was so weak it wouldn't stay on the shaft. I had another pointer that I installed on the shaft but when I installed the battery the clock didn't work. I tried to fix it but when I tried to remove the second hand the internal mechanism broke. Needless to say I sent it back. Wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

I needed to replace a defective movement after 15 years of service and decided on this one. I was skeptical that one of the cheapest options would be this good. I've had it for a month now and it shows perfect time. Please note that different stem lengths are available and measuring the replacement stem is essential. On new watches, the shank thread should protrude just above the bezel. Otherwise the spacers on the back of the bezel must be used for the right stem extension if it is too long…
