Definitely NOT waterproof. I wore them for about 60 minutes while snow tubing in light rain. They were so wet that I squeezed them with my hands and squeezed out cold water. After 90 minutes it was painful. Pictured is my hand after removing the gloves. They were still damp when I returned them two days later.

Measured by hand and bought according to the scheme. My hand levitates in this glove. It's too sloppy for me to go for a walk. Love the design, construction, price, materials and pull tabs. All of this is great. But they're just too big, and again, yes, I measured my hand. 8.5 inches around the palm - the chart indicated I should buy a size up. no This is too loose.

These gloves fit well and are comfortable. Also, these gloves don't keep my hands warm. I took a walk at 35F. My hands were cold 10 minutes after walking. I rode my bike in 30F. My hands were cold in less than 10 minutes. I shoveled snow in a narrow spot, resting my hand on the railing for balance. After a minute or two my hand got wet. These gloves are good for temperatures above 40F and dry conditions. Nothing advertised.

Please do not buy these if you are serious about walking in cold weather. Your fingers go numb as soon as you exceed 10mph with the wind on your face. I bought these based on previous reviews. Perhaps the pair I got was ineffective because my experience didn't match any of the previous reviews. I rode them and lots of Pearl Izumi innards and still took my hands off the handlebars to try to blow them up with heat. I would return them but I have already warned them about several trips.

These gloves worked great! My son tried them out in the snow, built a snowman and played snowball fights with them. They keep your hand warm and dry. calls and SMS. They don't let all traces of cold air through. Hand straps prevent your gloves from falling off when you need to take them off temporarily. Good gloves and good value for money. They kept their hands warm. That's exactly what they're supposed to do, high-quality thermal winter gloves.

I returned these gloves for a larger size despite using the company's sizing guide. As a woman who usually wears large women's gloves or medium men's gloves, these medium gloves proved to be too tight, so I'm now planning to order the large gloves. These gloves are well made and not as thick as heavy winter ski gloves. Need waterproof to clean car from snow/ice. Update a month later: They were NOT waterproof; and they were not warm. Wet and wet with frozen fingers at 25 degrees outside…

Actually much better than I expected and I didn't think removing the strings would be such a big deal but . They are cool and after a hard summer ride when you are sticky and uncomfortable they make it easy to take these gloves off. I'll update later with photos after a wash or two, but so far so good. I like her. Oh, and it was also a lot of fun figuring out what the marketing department wanted to convey when they created the hanging card they appear on. Apparently they didn't use Google…
