Installation isn't that bad

This is just for installation - it's not as bad as some people think. This should be adequate for most people with some decent tire levers (I like Pedros). Just make sure the bead is at BDC on the rim and push the bead further into the rim opposite where you pry open. It will work. Much lighter than some of my stiffer big steel arm off-road tires. Have an assistant press the bead into the bottom of the rim while supporting the other side if necessary. I pour sealant directly into the tire…

Its core is not good for tires and tubes

So I had high hopes for this outing. on paper it was a winner. Light weight, air pockets at top and bottom etc. Came (for obvious reasons) in a folding box. I unwrapped a set of 27.5 wheels and wrapped them around it to see if the wrinkles would smooth out, but they didn't. After two weeks in the circle, they still wanted to be a square. I bought a new Maxis Minion DHF and DHR (2.35) at my local bike shop, plus everything I need to make Mavic Crossmax PRO carbon fin tubes. took the wheels home,

Pros
  • Tires and tubes
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

It definitely took some convincing to mount the tire. Not as easy as it looks in the installation video. The guy in the video must have been using 3.0 plus tires or something. The last 12 inches was a bitch. I have wide rims, 35mm internal, and I see that this is not possible with narrow rims and a 2.1 or 2.3 tire. I needed all 3 tire levers and some clips to insert. I hope I'm never blown away like it says on the box and it's good that it's a brand new tire (maybe it's harder too) so it should

Pros
  • Tubes
Cons
  • Slightly cracked
