Poor quality optics

Focused at 10x, then lever zooms to 30x. Even at 10x magnification, objects were blurry. Zooming to 30x made things worse. I returned the device on the day it was received!

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Not sure

Cheap binoculars won't focus

I've had the binoculars for 2 months now and only use them for bird watching from home. After minimal use it stops focusing altogether. Initially I thought they were very good for the money but not durable.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Can see for miles.

I had a pair like this 10 years ago but they broke and still can't replace them. Exactly what I was looking for. The zoom function meets my expectations, which is cool. A small minus, they are a little heavy, and after 10-15 minutes hands get a little tired. But I could substitute and endorse them to reduce that. Because I use them because they are great. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • unreliable

Binocular zoom function works well

These binoculars are good for astronomy. Using a tripod and binoculars, I was able to see Jupiter's Galilean moons and even determine the orientation of Saturn's rings. The rings looked like an extension of the planet, no gaps between the planet and the rings were visible. The zoom function was a bit stiff and the focus had to be adjusted after zooming. The binoculars offer the possibility to adjust the focus of the right eyepiece. Great binoculars for the price.

High resolution at a low price

Mounted on a good, sturdy tripod, these binoculars are an amazingly powerful instrument for observing the night sky. You can easily find and focus on the target at low magnification and then zoom in; The zoom lever works very smoothly and does not cause the binoculars to wobble when operated carefully. Last night, from the sidewalk in front of my house in the heart of Greater Boston, my daughter and I saw the three moons of Jupiter and the streak of color on the planet's disc and the "ears" of…

GREAT PRODUCT FOR THE PRICE

I READ SEVERAL REVIEWS BEFORE BUYING. I HAVE OWNED TENTH TASCO PRODUCTS IN THE PAST AND THEY NEVER DISAPPOINT. TESTIMONIALS THAT CLAIM THAT OBJECTS WERE "BLURRY” AT THE HIGHEST MAGNIFICATION JUST DON'T KNOW HOW TO ADJUST THE FOCUS (USE THE CENTER WHEEL). OBJECTS IN GAIN RANGE 30 ARE AS CLEAR AS AT 10X MAGNIFICATION. YOU ONLY NEED TO USE THE RIGHT EYE FOCUS ADJUSTMENT AND THE CENTER WHEEL ADJUSTMENT CORRECTLY. THIS IS VERY WORTH THE MONEY. A LITTLE HEAVY, BUT THAT'S WHAT THE BELT AND CARRYING…

  • Certified by GOLS

  • Only available in black

Very good, yes I know

Surprised me! Very razor-sharp image at approx. 12-14x magnification. Very clear, as if you were actually seeing details of the bark of a rocky tree, not just gradients at 100+ meters. I've compared them alongside my Bushnell Powerview '2' 12x50 binoculars and these tascos are actually slightly sharper and have slightly better color reproduction at 12x. However, the Bushnells had a much broader and more useful field of view. These Tasco zoom binoculars seem to be as bright as my Nikon Aculon…
