Couldn't fit my old one back after changing the gearbox bought this one it works no leaks this damn thing doesn't stick to anything so I'm on the oil dipstick tied up

I really like it and it works great but it may seem wise not to use the plastic dipstick but it isn't and people should be warned.

Was very disappointed to find the dipstick was plastic. It is very convenient to remove the plastic and use it to cut the old metal to the desired length and attach it to the handle.

Came in so easily compared to the standard dipstick tube on my speedometer. 0 leaks and works like a charm, the dipstick itself is plastic which is my only complaint but it works and isn't expensive at all.

The hose itself is the only thing that is useful. The dipstick is plastic and will melt once the car warms up to operating temperature. Do not leave the probe in the pipe, cut the metal probe to the same length as the plastic probe and mark the probe.

Arrived with a crease which is not a product quality issue but a bummer. Problems with the quality of the product are that the probe is made of plastic and will not work without modification. Tried to install it in a 2001 4L60e and it couldn't even sit close to the transmission hole. I had to cut off 3/4" to reveal the gear housing.

I bought this dipstick because I forgot to put the factory pipe in when I put the LS engine back in my 4th gen Camaro. I installed this dipstick that requires you to remove the original pipe seal from the gearbox. At the same time, it enters, but not flexible, bends, and the inner plastic tube bends, worse, when the box heats up, the plastic probe becomes a piece of linguine, and I generally melted from the handle.
