🚗 Jeep Grand Cherokee Compatible 4-Way Flat T-Connector Harness by Tekonsha T-One Review

I've installed them before but there was no hot wire to the battery. You have to read the instructions a bit between the lines, but it worked great on my 18th Jeep Grand Cherokee that didn't come with a tow pack. He was on the ground for about 2 hours. One of the trickiest parts I found was getting the module out of the way. As a result, he hid behind the bumper. Great product to deal with this situation when towing a small bass tracker.

Installed on my 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude. All taillights work and the module has power, but the 4-pin connector does not work. Update: I ordered a new one and it worked perfectly. I think the previous one had a bad module. You don't have to go to Jeep to activate anything for them to work. The hardest part was stretching the power cable to the battery. I ran under the right rear seat straight to the battery vise which connected to a connector under the hood as shown in the video.

Product works great. I underestimated how difficult it would be to route the cable to the battery. I don't have an elevator and I have to do some interesting twists and turns to get the zip ties. Make sure you allow yourself enough time as there is nowhere to go until you are done. I highly recommend getting a 1/4 gauge wire harness for the power wire and the wire that goes through the rear bumper. This makes the installation look like an OEM. This is the second time I have installed this type of system. The first time was just as easy. I took my time and double checked the instructions on the video, it probably took about 1 hour. I recommend searching the web for a video as it has good advice on routing cables so they don't get caught in problem areas (exhaust, suspension, moving parts). I have used Tekonsha Harness T-connectors before and all connections, cables and connectors are top notch. I look for Tekonsha when I need to connect a hitch. But whoever wrote/followed the instructions NEVER installed the product! In the English version (page 1), step #6 begins with "Locate the battery in the trunk of the car".
