Well made tool suitable for screwdrivers

Don't know how I did it but I lost the only #3 Phillips screwdriver I had. When I was looking for a replacement, I decided on this brand from Tekton. It is very well made and serves its purpose. I've always been a huge fan of Craftsman hand tools, but with the recent decline of Sears into oblivion, I've been less than impressed with the quality of the current Craftsman line. I find that Tekton quickly became my choice.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Expensive

I thought it was a mini screwdriver, pleasantly surprised.

I needed a Phillips #0 and ordered it. I thought it was too expensive until I got it. This is not a small mini driver. This is a full size driver with a black oxide or nitride finish. This allowed me to tighten the connectors on the charge controller that kept coming out. After using it I'm thinking about adding more of these tools to my toolbox as it makes working with small high torque screws more convenient.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Fixed my vacuum cleaner

Excellent screwdriver. The soft plastic handle is comfortable to hold. I needed a long screwdriver to fix my vacuum cleaner that needed repairs so I ordered this screwdriver. He was able to access the removed screws, which were 6 inches below the base of the vacuum cleaner. I'm glad I bought this to get at those hard-to-reach screws on my vacuum cleaner. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a cheap long Phillips screwdriver.

High quality. Definitely worth the price

I'm a snob with a hand tool. If the manufacturer name does not start with K or CI, it is usually ignored. However, with budgets as they are these days, I had to replace some of the tools our house elves had been hiding from me. Too cheap to spend a lot of money I went for this one. Well, now I have to add "T" to this list. This is a very handy screwdriver with a hard tip. I will buy this brand once my current tools wear out, or join others that the elves have gone with.

Let's see how long this lasts

I bought 2 of #2 Phillips. They appear to be working properly. Let's face it, Phillips screwdrivers wear out. I used to buy a Craftsman (about 50 years ago) which I traded in for a new set every few years. But now that there are no Sears in my area, I had to pay for screwdrivers. As far as I know other stores currently selling Craftsman will not honor the Sears warranty. These items have been seriously repackaged. Each was sealed in a plastic bag which was placed in a beautiful box. Next, the…

Quality Tool - Mechanical & Hand Tools

If you're looking for a quality tool to open your Honda key fob, look no further. Do not remove another FOB key - the screw requires a #0 Phillips wrench. Most micro tools break and snap as quickly as the screws they are trying to remove. This is not a cheap micro tool, it is a high quality screwdriver with a small Phillips head. I know this is a tool review but want to say that if you are trying to open a Honda key fob be aware they use Loctite to install a screw. . That's why the whole world…

Pros
  • Durable Finish
Cons
  • Nothing Here

I replaced a very good old screwdriver I borrowed (and never got back after that, a classic tool lover's tale these days) with this one and by god it might be my new favorite. . I like the rubberized grip. If you've been using screwdrivers for a long time, you might appreciate that this one seems to give you a bit more weight for extra torque, and I dig that. It still has a nice rounded plastic end just in case you get the screwdriver "Push" and want to work faster, but it may not be as fast…

Great fit and feel, though.

I want to love and I hope I can. The first had the tip of the end snapped off just above the screw head. This has never happened before, so I'm hoping it was just an accident, especially since I wasn't trying to drive a screw into something it wouldn't go into. seen and it is convenient to use, so I want to love it. Getting a replacement from the company was also no problem, so thanks to TEKTON for that. All they asked for was a picture of the damage and sent a replacement as they didn't want a

Inaccurate Phillips tip, questionable alloy, useless finish

I ordered this screwdriver because I have other Tekton tools that are of decent quality and have worked well over the years. Another reason was that Phillips #3 screwdrivers almost always have 6" shanks, but this Tekton model has a 4" shank and is just over 8" long overall, which would be great for working in tight spaces . Upon closer inspection, however, I wasn't very impressed with this 1. The tip is a bit unusual for Phillips #3 - the very end is "chipped", not square. Wiha drivers that are
