Description of TEKTON 6 Point Impact Socket SID22038

Size is marked both with a high-visibility laser marking and a permanent stamped marking that won't wear off. 6-point socket opening provides an exact fit for hex fasteners. Radiused corners prevent fastener round-off by applying force to a fastener's flat sides, rather than its corners. Meets a minimum of 1.3 times the ANSI/ASME standard for proof torque. Overall Socket Length: 1.97 inches.

Flimsy and Disappointing Impact Socket

As a result of my tests, I determined that this socket is cheaply made and barely withstands the demands of any serious mechanical work. The thin walls bend easily, and the 6-point design fails to grip rounded lug nuts.

Fits Perfectly - Star Drive

Used to remove the HWH element, worked great. 1. Bought a wrench for an HWH element that didn't fit well and kept slipping off the element nut, taking a lot of time and effort.

Good quality. fits sockets and socket sets

It's nice to be able to buy exactly what you need. In local stores there were only complete sets, and that's a lot of money. Very good quality that my 1/2" impact tool can handle.
