I needed a flexible socket for a specific application and it does the job perfectly. It's a light socket so there isn't much drag, but for minimal stuff where space isn't a lot it's great.

I bought this Tecton 10mm and the whole Astro kit at the same time. Tecton is suitable when no Astro is available, but Astro costs 1/3 of the price at the time of testing

This along with a 10mm ratchet is very helpful when trying to get to the 10mm transmission self tapping screws that are sometimes hidden behind the vehicle frame . Another useful tool can be a 10mm wrench. Expensive for 10, and whole sets cost around 100 for them. But a good product. 10mm is a common bolt size on cars where a short universal joint head can be useful.

Same screw. You know him! The other three don't really matter, but here's another red-haired stepson of Bolt's that will put you on the brink of developing a brain aneurysm. That one outlet will save you from certain mental anguish. I don't think I would put it on a percussion instrument as I only have one but at this price I should have gotten two and got one to lock down the durability rating.

This little gem made it a lot easier for me to remove and replace the turbocharger on my TDI Jetta. There was one screw that was very difficult to reach even with a box wrench, and even then I had to turn the wrench multiple times. It does everything that goes away, and bolt launching is now a breeze. 10mm is a very common size (at least for Volks) so I expect to use it a lot. I like that it's built tight enough to hold an angle with the screw in the socket.

There are some tools that make work easier or more pleasant. Others exist to make the work possible. This socket wrench is intended to enable work when no other socket wrench or key is suitable for hard-to-reach places. And it has been very good for me. This is a very well thought out socket. The socket itself is flatter than usual to fit in hard-to-reach places. The platter is as compact as it gets and transfers torque fairly smoothly, so I'm confident my gear pan is torqued to specification…
