PERFECT. My door frame was getting old and.

PERFECT. My door frame was getting old and the bolt hole was too loose. This oversized replacement strike plate solved the problem!

Pros
  • Robust construction
Cons
  • Compatible

They are great for any application.

Exactly what I wanted, heavy gauge metal with a latch slot to allow frost to creep through on some of my outbuildings in winter. They would be good for any application.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Only available in white

Wrong item sent Door Hardware & Locks

This is not the correct product as described and pictured, it will be sent curved rather than square cut. Because if it doesn't match what I need for my bar. When trying to ship the right thing through Revain, hopefully the seller will actually ship the right thing this time.

Pros
  • Good product for its price
Cons
  • Out of style

Not for holder as shown

The plate supplied has a D shaped hole with no protrusion to make it easier to bolt in the hole. Also, the screw holes are unusually large, so big that if you decide to install longer screws for safety, you're in luck. Nothing you find at Home Depot has a head big enough, so you have to use the patented 1 inch long big head screws that just won't cut it for safety reasons. I'm sending it back, it's too casual for my taste.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Clear

Very strong strike plate

This strike plate gives the door additional security. For professional work it makes sense to cut out the enlarged area of the striker, the corners are square so a simple 1" chisel will do the job. The finish matches most brushed stainless steel door hardware. The screws are specially designed for plate locking, they have a flat head and fit the holes well. My only complaint is that the screws are a bit short, I had a few inches of framing to screw in and it would be nice to have several Screw…

Pros
  • Trial period for one year
Cons
  • Medium

This is a well made, solid, commercial size strike plate. A good choice for most metal doors. But (and this is a big but) in the photo there is a different model of the striker. I received a Tell Manufacturing CL100218 ASA 32D Strike Striker with the model number listed in the product description and not the product image. CL100218 has a D shaped hole and no small protrusion into the hole. I ordered based on the picture because I specifically needed a rectangular hole and ledge to close my door

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Difficult to tell
