Bought because for some reason my freezer turns itself on from time to time. I set the high pre-alarm temperature to 20 degrees Fahrenheit and chose to send an alarm if that temperature is ever exceeded. I opened the freezer to thaw some for dinner and thawed everything! I'm giving this 3 stars because it works, has an easy setup process and is accurate. However, I deducted two stars due to the connectivity range of their Bluetooth connection. When stored in something (e.g. freezer, fridge, etc.) the connection range becomes unbearable. Basically, you must be within 15 feet of the device to update its status.
